In a beautiful property on charming Hamngatan in Stockholm, we find EY. EY is an auditing and consulting company with over 300,000 employees and operations in over 150 countries with more than 700 offices. They have in recent years made a fantastic brand journey. In the spring of 2021, they moved into new premises centrally on Hamngatan in Stockholm.
In the summer of 2019, LAV was commissioned, together with EY and other partners in the project, to create a world-class workplace. An important point was to give EY's employees better opportunities for cooperation between business areas, groups, but also between offices in Sweden and other countries.
The office would focus on sustainability and today has the highest environmental standard, LEED Platinum, as a guarantee that the office meets the requirements for energy consumption, water efficiency and improved indoor environment.
EY would also implement a developed model for the Workplace of the Future, which means a flexible office that enables collaboration, digital work, efficiency, innovation and not least well-being.
LAV was commissioned to design, CAD-draw and install over 70 meeting rooms, flex and hybrid areas, board rooms, digital info screens and two larger meeting areas with LED walls. All integrated with Microsoft Teams and BYOD.
The biggest challenge was the design of the meeting rooms together with EY´s global team. In an international environment, several different nationalities and cultures must find technology and products that must be adapted to Swedish needs. Getting it together in the group to a common result adapted for the Swedish office was a challenge. In collaboration with an international IT group, it is always interesting and challenging to adapt solutions and at the same time maintain a high level of IT security.
In April 2021, EY moved into its new premises on Hamngatan in Stockholm. LAV delivered and installed meeting technology in over 70 conference rooms and flexible meeting areas, around 20 info screens and two 137 ”LED walls, cameras, ceiling microphones and programmed control panels in the larger meeting areas. Delivery of Microsoft Teams solutions in all meeting rooms with the option to connect directly from the touch panel or use your own device, BYOD.
